What a charming place! The cozy decor and historic beams created a lovely atmosphere during my stay. The breakfast was particularly memorable, especially the porridge and the steak and ale pie I had for dinner—it was simply delicious. Only downside was the inconsistent shower pressure, but otherwise, my stay was fantastic.

Oh mate, let’s talk about that beef dish! The steak and ale pie was practically a legend in its own right. Pair that with a cheeky pint in the sun trap beer garden, and you're living the dream! Plus, breakfast had a fantastic porridge that is worth getting out of bed for.
The beams were a tad low—my husband gave his noggin a bang, and those steep stairs can be a right faff for the elderly. It’s a lovely place, but watch your head! Still, everything sparkled despite the hiccup.
